This video was okay. I guess I expected a little more. I think if the person doing the exercises was the person speaking I would have liked it better.

I recently purchased this DVD and I really was kind of disappointed in it. I’ve purchased other types of Senior DVD’s and this one can’t begin to compare. The woman who does the exercise instruction is kind of strange. Can’t put my finger on it, but I just was not impressed with her and she doesn’t explain the exercises first. She just does them, and quite quickly, too, and it’s hard to keep up with her. I really enjoy working out with other Senior-type DVD’s I’ve had, but this one not so much.

This sitting exercise DVD has similar exercises as the easy sitting chair exercises. I use 2 lb dumbbells and feel that my strength has grown in the past few weeks.
The Instructor does the exercises at a good slow pace first explaining the exercise before she does them.
There is a 5 minute gentle warm up. The exercises with Dumbbells are easy to follow, especially for the inexperienced older person like me. There is a gentle cool down with slow stretching, and a beautiful relaxation end the routine.
Very well done. Recommended to all who want to do gentle sitting dumbbells exercises.

Excellent Exercises DVD for Seniors and Elderly!!
I am the President of Valucare Inc. A Seniors and Elderly Home Care corporation. We employ over 100 RNs, Nurses, Aides, who go Seniors and Elderly homes and give them day care.
I got a few DVDs for our Staff and Associates to do some form of basic exercises with the Seniors, Elderly they visit and care for.
The DVD is about 32 minutes, which is good because its short and the seniors don’t get bored. It moves at a pace that fits seniors and has a perfect combination of exercises.
The DVD has;
A) Few Minutes of Warm-up Stretching.
B) About 20 minutes of Exercises for the full body encompassing every muscle group.
C) Cool-down with slow stretching.
D) Relaxation with affirmations and beautiful imagery.
The Nurses use them in their visits and they tell me that the Seniors are Happy and Feel Good when they’re done exercising.
Sunshine is an encouraging instructor who doesn’t offer unnecessary chatter. I highly recommend this DVD for anyone looking to strengthen their body and exercise safely.

I finally got around to using this exercise DVD and I am impressed. I have degenerative arthritis and also have lost a great deal of flexibility in my joints. However, I am not ready to call it quits so I ordered this DVD thinking that it would be a good start and I do believe it will be. It is simple and easy to follow. After only one time following the exercise routine I believe it is “just what the doctor ordered”. It is also short enough so you don’t get tired before it ends and it is something that you will want to do daily.
