It has been scientifically proven that by adding running or jogging to your daily work out regimen has anti-aging benefits and prevents a lot of the bone and muscle deterioration that happens with age. Since our bones grow weaker over the years, sedentary lifestyles can cause them to become brittle, but running to lose weight helps keep our bones strong, even in our older years.

Losing weight is always a challenge. It requires commitment, effort, and a serious amount of sacrifice before you can even achieve THE perfect body that you want. The path to weight loss can be so challenging that a lot of people feel compelled to choose a weight loss system that promises to work the soonest possible time. A few of the healthier weight loss programs usually include a diet, an exercise routine, and sometimes replacement meals. Sad thing is, because some people are so desperate, they end up trying more drastic measures like fasting to lose weight and eating synthetic supplements that have questionable sources and ingredients.

Do you have the time or patience to sift through all the diet programs on the market to find which one is right for you? Is fasting to lose weight okay? Isn’t there a magic pill that will melt the pounds right off your body? Well, I’m sorry to tell you the answer is no. The best and only way is to diet and exercise.

Please understand that being on a diet is far different that fasting. Dieting is eating healthy foods in small reasonable portions. Fasting is not eating, or trying to starve the weight off. Fasting to lose weight is not only harmful to your health, it will lower your body’s metabolism which will cause you to store fat, not actually lose any weight.
